found at west end of Mission Creek Regional Park in Kelowna in early Oct/14. VERY hard to get close to this, it kept taking off and landing a distance away, this photo is zoomed in.

The pale legs, the lack of st
The pale legs, the lack of strong black markings on the abdomen, and the swollen area at the base of the abdomen along with the late date all point to a red female Sympetrum vicinum, Autumn Meadowhawk.
