Beautiful squeaking large ladybug thing? - Bolbocerosoma lepidissimum
Montgomery County, Texas, USA
Found alive on living room floor, loved quite like a very large ladybug, puppy was barking at it. Not sure if puppy had been chewing on it or not. I rescued this beetle thing and gently rolled it over on its feet. It had a noticeable squeak which I showed to all my kids who thought it was fascinating. Bug put outside in bushes.
