Papaipema sp. - Papaipema baptisiae
Glencoe/ Chicago Botanic Garden, Cook County, Illinois, USA
October 20, 2014
Size: 21 mm tip of wing to head
Found on the side of the building under lights early in the morning. Location has restored woodland with abundant Cicuta maculata and Baptisia populations nearby. It appears to be P. arctivorens, but very similar to P. baptisiae and P. birdi.
