Linear blotch mine on red oak - Stigmella quercipulchella

Linear blotch mine on red oak - Stigmella quercipulchella
Island View, York County, New Brunswick, Canada
October 30, 2014
A linear-blotch mine on a red oak leaf that was still on the tree (actually a sapling). The frass line is visible within the blotch portion. Probably a nepticulid, possibly Stigmella.

Moved
Moved from Nepticulidae.
When taken together with this one

I feel pretty good about calling it an extra-contorted Stigmella mine.

Moved
Moved from Unidentified Leaf Mines.
Could be Stigmella quercipulchella, but I wonder about Ectoedemia.
