Grapevine Epimenis cat. w/ eggs on it (?) - Euplectrus

Grapevine Epimenis cat. w/ eggs on it (?) - Euplectrus
Austin, Travis County, Texas, USA
April 3, 2007
Size: 1-2 cm
dorsal view, 4/3, 11:30PM

I can make out lots of fibers, extending radially from the whole thing, a few of which i now see when i look at the previous photo. Looks like they sucked the caterpillar dry, as evidenced by the fact that light passes through the carcass where there is no braconid covering it.
