Orange coleophorid moth - Coleophora

Orange coleophorid moth - Coleophora
Odenton, Anne Arundel County, Maryland, USA
June 21, 2014
First orangish coleophora-shaped moth I've seen.

My flash is white, and the siding is a yellowish off-white. But the moth has orange, and I think that the orange is the real scale color and not an artifact of the photography.

The only orangish Coleophora moth sighted in Maryland in MPG is Coleophora glaucicolella, though some cogeners aren't photographed there.

Moved from Moths.
