Annaphila - Annaphila decia

Annaphila - Annaphila decia
Mill Creek Summit area, ~5000 ft. altitude, San Gabriel Mountains, Los Angeles County, California, USA
April 2, 2007
Size: wingspan ~16 mm
Nectaring in Rhus trilobata (Skunkbrush). Only managed a couple of shots of this elusive (at least during my visit) little moth. Rather attractive with both FW and HW orange on underside, but contrasting on top.
One of two day-flying moths observed at this site.
Probably an Underwing? Are there such small Catocala ?
