Herpetogramma? - Salbia tytiusalis

Herpetogramma? - Salbia tytiusalis
Arcadia, Desoto County, Florida, USA
November 4, 2014

Moved, Salbia tytiusalis

Moved to Omiodes indicata
Moved from Spilomelinae.

Tentative ID. I agree with Kyhl. Similar Herpetogramma have forewing pm. line starting perpendicular to the costa then bending outwardly opposite the cell and the hindwing transverse line has a medial outward bulge. Correction welcome.

Omiodes indicata
Thank you

Possibly Cnaphalocrocis trapezalis
I've had Omiodes indicata almost every night in 2016 from 08/31-11/24 as well as Cnaphalocrocis trapezalis.

The color (and the "shiny-ness" as they can be difficult to shoot without a ring flash or diffuser) and 3 hindwing lines are in keeping with Cnaphalocrocis trapezalis IMHO.

Moved
Moved from Spilomelini.

The tribe Spilomelini has been elevated to subfamily Spilomelinae. (1)

I'm thinking something like a pale Omiodes indicata
Moved from Spilomelinae.

Moved
Moved from Pyraustinae.

Moved
Moved from ID Request.

.
Possibly . The lines are difficult to see.
