carabid egg layers? - Pterostichus

carabid egg layers? - Pterostichus
Nashua, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA
April 1, 2007
Size: est. 1/2 mm
Here are a few of the adult carabids I found congregated beneath the rip-rap along with the eggs. If any of the eggs hatch, I should be able to determine if they were layed by *some* type of carabid.

EDIT eight years later: I should have said sooner that the eggs did hatch and they turned out to be Opiliones, a daddy longlegs. See here.
