November 6, 2014
I was photographing pollinators upon Swamp Sunflower (Helianthus angustifolius)and noted what appeared to be two different Syrphid fly species, one "Toxomerus marginatus". Upon edited them on my computer, I researched bugGuide, and believe this one is "Toxomerus marginatus", and the one submitted earlier is "Toxomerus geminates".(see photos 1017738, 1017739, and 1017741). ID please?
