Size: 1.5mm
Found a colony of these underneath a flat stone in a slightly damp, shaded part of my garden. There were thousands of the smaller workers, with 10 or 20 of these larger ants walking over them. If needed for identification, I can take a picture of the entire colony, showing the tunnels they have dug.
