Scolopocryptops sexspinosus? - Scolopocryptops sexspinosus
Bullitt County, Kentucky, USA
November 9, 2014
Size: 3 inch approx.
This centipede (Scolopocryptops sexspinosus?) was with some white little millipedes or are they it's babies? Do they guard their babies or is there some other behavior going on here where two different species interact? The little ones appear to be millipedes to me - look like they have two pairs of legs per segment and more segments than the adult centipede!
