Excellent series of pic's

Is this a female or male?

Female
Males have a more tubular or rounded tail end while that of the female is more sharply pointed. Male cicadas in this group (Subfamily: Cicadettinae) have small opercula and open tymbals

Compare with the related Magicicadas pictured
