Possibly something near Chrysomela schaeferi? - Harmonia axyridis

Possibly something near Chrysomela schaeferi? - Harmonia axyridis
Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz County, California, USA
October 8, 2014
Size: 6-8mm (guess)
Size pretty similar to Harmonia axyridis. Notice the high gloss of its blac pronotum reflecting the white marks on the stem. Not to be outdone, you can see the reddish line of the plants stem on the elytra of H. axyridis.

Moved

could we move this image to the H. axyridis page?
...but keeping the two images linked of course.

No problem!
It just did not occur to me.
