Nice find!
The similarity of these mantispids to mantids is a great example of parallel evolution. This creature is actually more closely related to lacewings and ant lions than to praying mantises. The same evolutionary solution to the predatory life way evolved twice - each in a different insect lineage. Pretty awesome.
