Aellepos titan - Aellopos titan

Aellepos titan - Aellopos titan
Bentsen Rio Grande Valley State Park, Mission, Hidalgo County, Texas, USA
November 23, 2014
Size: 1.5"
Photographing Buff-bellied Hummingbird when this moth flew by. First time I've seen one. I am fairly certain it is one of the Hummingbird moth species but the dark back and broad white band are befuddling me. Not even sure which genus it might be. Wings do not appear to be clear and unfortunately the moth was in constant flight.

Nice photo
but it would help with identification if you could crop to the "bug".

Oops
I usually do but not this time.

Aellopos, I think - my guess
Aellopos, I think - my guess is A. titan since I can see a wide white area on the hindwing (blurred but clearly present). A. clavipes lacks a defined white area on the hindwing, and A. fadus has a spot, not a wider area.
