Haploa Colona
Thank you. What I think is most interesting is the location of the siting/photograph ie 45.25 degrees N by 76.48 W which is just a little northwest of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. I have read somewhere (sorry) that the range for this moth is Virginia south to Florida.

Wish we knew the Haploa better
It seems they can be variable. If we were to choose we would say this is The Neighbor, H. contigua
