This tiny larvae was on the bottom surface of a sand live oak (Quercus geminata) leaf. For scale, the green is the curled edge of the oak leaf.

looks nothing like hymenopteran larvae i'm aware of
how was the id obtained? millipede, i suppose

I am so sorry!
I apologize. I must not have proof read carefully before posting. I simply typed in "Unknown" and the "auto fill" picked up a previous post I had for an unknown hymenopteran. I will edit the word "hymenopteran" out of my ID request title.
