Zagrammosoma multilineatum
Just noticed that this specimen is listed in Ryan's recent Zagrammosoma revision, and this ID stands.

Moved
Moved from Zagrammosoma.
Ryan Perry, who is working on revising this genus, says: "On first looks, it would be Zagrammosoma multilineatum, but I am discovering a lot of variance between individuals that I thought were all multilineatum." I'm sending him the specimen; maybe it will get another name eventually.

Did you blog about this one?

Not yet...
I thought I had written about a Zagrammosoma at some point, but the only page that comes up when I search for that name is this one, about a Cirrospilus that I had misidentified as a Zagrammosoma.

Awesome....
What a fantastic looking chalcid wasp, quite unique and bizarre. Nice photo as well, of such a very small wasp
