What is it? - Evarcha hoyi

What is it? - Evarcha hoyi
Auburn, Cayuga County, New York, USA
June 3, 2014
Size: 6mm
I have no idea what this is. In fact, I cannot even make complete sense out of its arrangement of body parts. It looks like an arthropod, maybe a spider, but no certainty whatsoever. Can anyone make sense of it?

Moved
Moved from Jumping Spiders. Actually, John is correct. I always forget about that one.

Moved for the experts
Moved from ID Request. Either a male Pelegrina or Eris.

Or a male Evarcha hoyi maybe?

The back end of a jumping spider, Salticidae
It is facing away from you. Not this one, but you get the idea
