Blaste persimilis (Banks) 1908 - Blaste persimilis - Male
Mobile, Mobile County, Alabama, USA
November 21, 2014
Size: ~ 3.5 mm
Found in a tangle of dead vines and branches in the Zimlich Zone. As of 1993 this species is known only from the male. It has been collected "along the Gulf Coast from Brownsville to Refugio Co". (1). ID confirmed by Dr. Mockford. I must look for more on the Texas coast!

Only in the Zimlich Zone ...
