Hammaptera? - Hammaptera parinotata

Hammaptera? - Hammaptera parinotata
Patagonia Lake SP, Santa Cruz County, Arizona, USA
December 2, 2014
This moth and another photographed at the same location are a very good match in pattern to Hammaptera perinotata with which I'm very familar at my own porchlight in Austin, TX, but these AZ examples lack any of the green tint which is so characteristic there. I can't match them to any of the other Larentiinae moths of the area. Photographed at a restroom in the state park.

Moved
Moved from Moths.

They seem to like bathrooms and barns! I have seen them in the Basin campground restrooms at Big Bend and in my barn often.

Thanks for the confirmation
At the risk of sounding a little suspicious, I often prowl around any night lights at parks that I'm visiting in hopes of photographing the occasional interesting moth. Of course, those opportunities are often at a campground restroom, so I have to be respectful and cautious!
