Large Red Mites - Trombidium

Size: 1/10 inch
I know nothing about mites except these were fair size and bright red and really active.
Found under a rock.

Velvet Mites
It looks like these are velvet mites, Trombidiidae. I'm no mite expert so I'm not certain beyond that.
