Yes melanic P. zonalis -
Have added this place to spots to check out this year.
The plant is a
Phacelia
as expected, probably var.
leptocephala
in the Twin Lakes area.

My first hunch
is
P. zonalis
but my grandkids just came through the door and I have to take my attention away from this. Will revisit soon.
