I had been misidentifying this moth as a Cucullia sp. but recently determined the correct ID. I have over a dozen images of the species, all from late November through December. This adds a TX record for BG. The larvae are known to feed on Eastern Red Cedar to the east of us so the likely larval food plant here in CenTex will be Ashe juniper J. ashei.
