Bumble Bee - Bombus fraternus - Female
5 miles west of Adams, Gage County, Nebraska, USA

Size: Large
I'm thinking this is a Southern Plains Bumble Bee Bombus fraternus queen. Feeding on Red Clover in my yard 4 pm in the afternoon. Very large bee.

Looks like Bombus fraternus t
Looks like Bombus fraternus to me as well. Am I seeing mites on her thorax? Hope not...
