Pyrodes lineata - Pyrota lineata

Pyrodes lineata - Pyrota lineata
Williston Highlands, Levy County, Florida, USA
October 11, 2013
Size: 13 mm
At store lights.

Moved
Moved from Beetles.

ID confirmed by J.D. Pinto, but with the following comment:
"Must be Pyrota lineata based on locality yet light colored areas of elytra are more typical of P. bilineata, a western species. In typical lineata these lighter areas are about the same color as the pronotum and head. I am not familiar with potential variation in this species however."
