Looks like Eufala Skipper
Light coloration and faint spotband on HW below are characteristic of Eufala whereas Three-spotted which is similar is usually darker and with prominent curved spotband below.

This skipper appears, to me, to have long antennae and white below the antennal clubs.

I was thinking about revisiting this one since the subapical spots on the FW are separated and slanted outward which is characteristic of Three-spotted. Thus I agree with your assessment.
I still consider myself as new at butterflying and identification so I appreciate your advice and keeping me on the right track.
