Epeorus fragilis? - Nixe inconspicua

Epeorus fragilis? - Nixe inconspicua
Blanchard township, Lafayette County, Wisconsin, USA
August 13, 2014
Size: 8-10mm

Moved from Mayflies.

Perhaps. Although I believe this female imago to be of family Heptageniidae, am not entirely confident concerning the genus, let alone the species. So, will temporarily park it at family, and request the opinion of trusted colleague, Kurt Schirmer.

Nixe inconspicua
Although unable to raise Kurt Schirmer, have been consulting with another colleague, Mack Beacon. We both believe this female imago to be of genus Nixe, and I strongly suspect it to be Nixe inconspicua.
