Looper moth caterpillar? - Epirrhoe alternata

Looper moth caterpillar? - Epirrhoe alternata
Reveler Conservation Area, North Stormont, Ontario, Canada
September 14, 2014
This quite small looper caterpillar was on a blade of grass in an open meadow type area, with apple trees, maples, elm nearby. I thought at first it might be Eupithecia miserulata, but now I am not sure.
