Mis-placed "Geometrid"... - Ledaea perditalis
n.w. Austin, Travis County, Texas, USA
April 13, 2014
I have been struggling to ID this pseudo-Geometrid. Opinions would be appreciated.

Moved
Moved from Moths.

Slight range extension
This record appears to provide a bit of a southwestward extension of the range of the species. Based on BG and MPG records, the range of the species in Texas is principally in the N and E parts of the state.

Ledaea perditalis
I'm thinking this is Noctuid, such as a worn Lost Owlet, Ledaea perditalis.

Thanks, Mark!
Wow! That's a great lead. I'll double-check that ID and move the image.
