I was thinking Euchaetes perlevis, but that's just from comparison with photos. I don't know what other similar species there are.

Actually, now we remember
we should have asked whether the dorsal surface was black or grey. There has been a long discussion on the difference between Euchaetes perlevis and Pygarctia murina. See

 
Dorsal surface
appears to be grey. And it has the mix of tan and black tufts mentioned in the Euchaetes-Pygarctia discussion. I will put it in Phaegopterina for now?
