Lerema accius, Clouded Skipper female ? - Lerema accius
Pinellas County, Florida, USA
April 7, 2011
Picture shows 3 white subapical FW spots that may be "curving outwardly". It also shows a smaller ovate cell spot that females have.

Can this be confirmed? Thank you.

Clouded Skipper male
Females are usually extensively marked with more and larger dots. Note the dark narrow stigma from the base to lower dot underneath the forewing.

male vs female

I understand
I had to magnify the pic to be able to clearly see stigma.
