female Ageneotettux deorum
Extremely similar to Aulocara elliotti, except with reddish hind tibiae (blue in the other species) and dark bars on inner hind femur less solid. This one looks like it's been in liquid preservative, perhaps alcohol (?), since some the coloring appears faded, with the original color of the hind tibiae hard to be sure of.

Moved from Grasshoppers, Crickets, Katydids.

yes it was alcohol (and proplyne glycol) preserved. I'll see if I can photograph a live one this next summer!
