Sweat bee on Cirsium occidentale var. occidentale - Agapostemon texanus - female

Sweat bee on Cirsium occidentale var. occidentale - Agapostemon texanus - Female
San Clemente Island, Los Angeles County, California, USA
April 18, 2012
Size: About 10mm
I presume this is an Augochlorella sp. (Hymenoptera: Halictidae), metallic green sweat bee, but would like professional opinion, if possible. It is on the flowers of a native western cobwebby thistle (Cirsium occidentale var. occidentale).

White hair bands on terga
So must be Agapostemon (Channel Islands species is A. texanus) not Augochlorella pomoniella
