Size: 2 mm
I'm adding this because it better shows the light color funicle
collected in a sand prairie remnant (on Artemisia sp., Wormwood, but I think the plant association is happenstance)

Question:
Is there another Apioninae in the Midwest that I might confuse with this one? I sometimes collect a look alike on Purple prairie clover, Dalea purpurea.
