Don't suppose you know the circumstances behind this one?
Wouldn't mind looking for it since I seem to live in its habitat. Do Nephus just up in sweep nets or beating trays, or does it take other means to find them?

I recon this spmn was coll'ed betw. 1930 & 1950
see added label data photo. they can be coll'ed via lights or possibly via beating...

Incidentally, don't suppose you have access to Nephus quadrarius? Gordon's description works but a visual depiction is always nice...

haven't encontered Nephus quadrarius
I'm less focused on coccinellids outside my core area of interest, namely
TX and surrounding states
