Ichneumon Wasp - female

Ichneumon Wasp - Female
Kokomo, Howard County, Indiana, USA
July 28, 2014
I know this can't be identified down to genus, but I'd appreciate if anyone could tell me what Family it fits into. It looks like it might me a Braconid Wasp or Ichneumon Wasp, and a female? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

Thank you!
Thank you all so much for your help! I understand that these wasps are very difficult to identify from photos, and I'm delighted you were able to suggest a probable genus/species for this girl.

The wing venation isn't really clear but it seems to have an areolet with more than three sides so it is an Ich. If I had to guess at a genus, I would go with Cryptus

something near this?

Yes - Cryptus albitarsis (female)…
