Range
in NA, boreal and western montane (all our genera except Cimberis are restricted to the west)(1)
Food
larvae develop in the male strobili of conifers; all our spp. are apparently associated with Pinus spp.; adults and larvae are likely feed mainly on pine pollen(2)
