Emerged from a microgastrine cocoon in a Phyllonorycter mine in a beech leaf.

Christer Hansson examined the specimen and identified it as Sympiesis conica (Provancher, 1887), which is a synonym of Sympiesis sericeicornis (Nees, 1834).
