Asperosoma echinatum (Fall) - Asperosoma echinatum

This is Asperosoma echinatum (Fall). This is the first record from the U.S.A. Previously the species was only known from Manitoba (type locality) and Ontario, Canada. It is associated with Heuchera richardsoni R. Br. (Saxifragiaceae).
