I was initially thinking Melangyna, but the face is black rather than yellow. Melanostoma mellinum?

Not M. mellinum. The scutellum is the wrong colour.
The dirty yellow scutellum with a black spot at the base on sides is found in Melangyna.
Looking at very high magnification, I think the face is yellow but obscured by dusting.
Some Melangyna can have the face black.
The black hind legs and pale only at the knees is typical of Melangyna.
Hair colour on thorax can change from dark to pale depending on light and angle of viewing if you tried to determine what species of Melangyna this is. However they are difficult even with the actual specimen under a microscope.
