A
Phid, maybe princeps?

Not princeps. Putnami group?
I think I see mid-ocular tufts, and this looks similar to the putnami spiderlings I tried (and failed) to raise over the winter. So I would guess about 4th-5th instar.

The princeps I've raised all had what appeared to be a "stacked triangle", where the top triangle replaces spots I, is all iridescent, and often doesn't show well in a photograph. However poorly it may show up though, it definitely wouldn't leave a clean spot I pair in its place.

Yes
you are probably right.
I believe P. putnami is a common one in Herschel's area.
