I spent some time trying to figure out what is a Naupactus and what is a Phacepholis. I hope I am getting close.

makes me wonder...
if some of BG's Midwestern 'Naupactus' are this guy? I don't know the generic key characters off-hand

 
i scrolled thru the Naupactus pages
none seems to be misplaced; most everything from the KS-TX region has reliable IDs
