Selenophorus aeneopiceus Casey
Det. P. Messer

PWM det "Selenophorus aeneopiceus Casey" clarified:
My physical determination applies to the sexual pair received from same location but given dates June 9 - 16, 2015. The collection date for the imaged specimen here is later in July. I feel these images are consistent with my perception of S. aeneopiceus.

Yes
Sorry for not stating that. This specimen is from the same location, different date.

This is Selenophorus = one of my genera of intense research
within Carabidae. I would appreciate receiving this specimen for accurate species determination plus it might add new information to the key to North American Selenophorus currently under construction. I welcome additional kinds of Arizonan carabids for identification in the same mailing

Thank you Peter
I only have the one specimen but I'd be willing to send it. It would be great to get ID's on other specimens I have as well. I realize I never sent you an email explaining the other specimens I was supposed to send you! Sorry, they went missing along with other specimens with an undergrad helper I had :( But I'd be happy to mail this and others along, thanks!
