M. streckeri and M. yuccae hatched eggs - Megathymus streckeri

M. streckeri and M. yuccae hatched eggs - Megathymus streckeri
Blanco County, Texas, USA
April 26, 2014
This photo shows the difference between M. streckeri and M. yucca eggs that have
hatched. As far as I know you can't tell the difference prior to the
caterpillar hatching, but once hatched the yucca eggs are tanish, while
the streckeri eggs are white. The photo shows yucca in the middle
between two streckeri eggs.
