most of NA, as follows:(1)
one Holarctic sp. (S. thomsoni)
2 spp. across so. Canada and n. US south to NJ (one also to NM in the west)
2 western spp. (S. pacificus ID-BC-CA, S. tropicus CA to Guatemala)
