Fishing Spider - Dolomedes tenebrosus
Ames - Tullamore, Story County, Iowa, USA

This spider was beautiful and good sized. I would guess at the size but I know I would exaggerate.
I'd see a couple of them every year by the front or back porch.

We don't see the large posterior median eyes
of Lycosidae. We would suggest Dolomedes instead.
