Heliothinae, Subflexus Straw Moth - Chloridea subflexa

Heliothinae, Subflexus Straw Moth - Chloridea subflexa
Road Ditch, Elk Township, Section 12, Buena Vista County, Iowa, USA
September 5, 2008
September 5, 2008 larva collected on Ground Cherry, Physalis virginiana, by M. Leoschke
(Now I know why I sometimes find frass inside of the husk of Ground Cherries rather than a fruit.)
June 17, 2009 adult emerged
February 7, 2015 I just realized not only had I never posted this life cycle but that I had also misidentified the moth. It was not Heliothis virescens
