Found at the Claremont Colleges' Bernard Field Station in an experimental plot in recently burned recovering sage scrub. Any information will be greatly appreciated!

There's another relatively large spirobolidan in LA Co., Atopetholus californicus (= A. angelus) and maybe even one or two other representatives of Atopetholidae. This is one.

Spirobolida
A Spirobolid, I believe one in Hiltonius, but it might be in Tylobolus.

From (1), pg. 39:

"H. pulchrus or of Tylobolus
claremontus, the only large spiroboloids currently known to occur in Los Angeles Co."

Thanks for narrowing it down! Both of those species have been documented at the field station, and it would be great if I could find out which one this is.
